|First professional engagement was at the Winter Gardens, Bournemouth, with the Municipal Orchestra. After appearing in several Philharmonic concerts, she secured a one-year contract with the Hanover Opera House Germany. Also sang with the Hanover Symphony Orchestra, and on the Hanover, Hamburg Radio.

Petite, with a winning personality. Training in stage movement from two of Italy’s foremost operatic producers: Dr. Riccardo Picozzi, of La Scala, Milan, and Marcella Govoni of San Carlo, Naples.
